Angela and myself spent an enjoyable 5 days staying with her parents on Tyneside (9th to 14th Sept). It was nice to catch up with her relatives and see some of the landmarks in the north east - The Angel of the North, Tyne Bridges, Whitley Bay and Marsden Rock.
We also managed to head into Northumberland and visit some of the coastal areas.
